Best Friend Forever is a Brussels based company focused on bringing to the international market carefully selected arthouse films. Our mission is to accompany brilliant producers and directors, either emerging or confirmed, into bringing their projects to reality through international sales, development financing, legal or financial consulting.

Best Frien Forever is looking for two interns:
Best Friend Forever is seeking for a bright, passionate, and organized Sales & Festivals Assistant Intern to join the boutique team. He or she will work closely with the festival manager and the partners on a daily basis.
Duties includes but are not limited to:
- Festivals fee negotiation, prospection& reporting
- DCP & Material delivery to festivals
- Organization and follow-up of talent travels
- Creation of the newsletters and participation to the marketing (line-up, posters, trailer…)
- Update of the website and other communication elements
- Assistance to the sales process closely with partners (links, follow-up…)
- Participation to the acquisitions
Qualifications for the role
- Strong Academic curriculum
- Strong cinephilia & interest to work in the cinema industry
- Fluent English written/spoken absolutely necessary, Dutch/Flemish a real plus, French a plus
Candidates must be strong cinephiles. They need to be able to prioritize and respond quickly, manage their time effectively, and possess strong, independent judgement. A pro-active problem solver with positive & friendly attitude. A true cinematic hero.

Best Friend Forever is also seeking for a bright, passionate, and organized Business Affairs Intern to join the boutique team. He or she will work closely with the partners on a daily basis, attend commercial meetings (with producers, distributors, exhibitors), and will be closely involved with the management of the company.
This position offers a real immersion in the international sales activity and will give overview & understanding of the movie industry (financing, production, distribution and exhibition of Belgian and foreign films).
Duties includes but are not limited to:
- Follow-up of sales (follow-up of invoicing and collections, follow-up of the rights & territories availabilities, etc.) ;
- Financial Follow-up of the films exploitation (royalties, statements, etc.);
- Legal follow-up of acquisition mandates;
- Preparation of the first versions of sales contracts;
- Follow-up of subsidies applications
- Follow-up of expenses (market expenses, supplier invoices, etc.);
- Administrative tasks (RCA registrations, CNC contributions, withholding taxes, legalization, updating of commercial and financial databases, etc.).
Qualifications for the role
- Strong Academic curriculum including law, economy, business and/or cultural management;
- Strong cinephilia & interest to work in the cinema industry
